VISIT Easingwold- Yorkshire at its best

Alders Caravan Park

DESCRIPTION

Alders Touring Caravan Park is situated in the lovely and picturesque village of Alne, 3 miles from the Georgian market town of Easingwold and only 9 miles from the historic City of York with buses to both stop nearby in the village.

Alders lies between the North York Moors & Coast and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks - a natural touring centre for all of beautiful North Yorkshire!

The site has been sensitively developed in historic parkland on a working farm where visitors can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Yorkshire countryside.

The Alders Caravan Park offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our woodland, water meadow with wild flowers and animals and woodland walks all combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay.

The park has been carefully developed to ensure privacy through internal landscape and imaginative design. Small bays named after Yorkshire abbeys and dales provide privacy with space.

The site is level and dry with electric hook-up points and modern enclosed waste disposal points and luxurious toilet facilities. For your comfort we have provided individual fully equipped shower rooms, two of which have facilities for disabled visitors and two with baths. Other facilities include shaver points, hair driers, telephone and gas. Golf, tennis, riding and fishing are nearby as well as children's play facilities.

During summer months you may be fortunate enough to support the local cricket team as they play on the village cricket field which is overlooked by the Alders Caravan Park!

It's a fact

Like many local villages, Easingwold grew out of two completely separate settlements, one Viking and one of Saxon origin, located to the north and south of a common market square.
