Junior Gymnastics at the Galtres Centre
Gymnastics
Junior Gymnastics is now up and running at the Galtres Centre. Monday evenings 4.00 – 5.00pm for the junior class (ages 5-7) and 5.00 – 6.00pm for the older group (ages 8-11).
Level 4 coach Emma Broadhurst is thoroughly enjoying her first term of teaching here at the Centre. Both classes are currently full and we do have a waiting list. Should you wish to register your son or daughters interest please contact the Centre on 01347-822472 and add leave their details to add to the list.

It's a fact
Squadron Leader Jack Currie DFC, the famous bomber pilot, who wrote the greatest wartime book about bombing operations during WW2 is buried in Easingwold Church Yard. He settled at Easingwold because he was then an instructor at the Home Office Civil Defence School, Hawkhills, nearby. He wrote his book over many years whilst enjoying a pint in the George Hotel and was a very likeable local character and his description of flying on bombing missions is unparalleled.
He was also featured in a BBC Documentary titled \"The Lancaster Legend\".
