It's a fact
The Village of Crayke was home to the late Sir Jimmy Saville during the war years where he worked on a local farm.. Before he sadly passed away he was still seen there from time to time, for example attending the occasional Crayke summer gala. A bench dedicated by him is placed outside of the village church
